Aracruz continuously invests in technological improvements designed to reduce the consumption of water at its facilities.

Over the years, Aracruz has continually invested in technological improvements to reduce the amount of water consumed by its facilities.

A reduction of 3.76% was achieved between 2003 and 2004 in specific water consumption, which reached 37.3m 3 /t, one of the lowest levels of consumption in the world. We continue to work towards closing the water circuit, a process that has been developed gradually to avoid impacts on the quality of the final product.
