All Aracruz service providers receive guidelines and training concerning the correct disposal of operating wastes. Organic wastes are disposed of in the forests themselves, while wastes contaminated with petroleum by-products and used pesticide packages are transported by a licensed service provider to the mill's dangerous waste warehouse, where they are sent to an appropriate final destination.
