Relationship with stakeholders

  • Develop and begin implementation of a strategy of engaging stakeholders, comprising the mapping, prioritizing and definition of a structured relationship process.
  • Develop a process for consulting with stakeholders about the Company’s communication tools, especially the Sustainability Report.
  • Continue the Dialogue with the Forum of NGOs of Espírito Santo and work to initiate a similar system with NGOs in Bahia.
  • Implement seven new Environmental Education Nuclei in municipalities in Espírito Santo and maintain the 15 nuclei already operating in municipalities in Bahia and Espírito Santo.
  • Disseminate appropriate forest management practices in more than 20 schools in Rio Grande do Sul, run training courses in environmental education for residents of Guaíba (RS) and publicize environmental education concepts in partnership with the Brazilian Association of Sanitary and Environmental Engineering (ABES) and the Henrique Luiz Roessler State Foundation for Environmental Protection (FEPAM).
  • Train 400 forest farmers on environmental issues; publish and distribute four editions of the Forestry Partners Magazine containing articles about the environment.
  • Contribute to the replanting of native trees in Porto Alegre and outlying cities, through the distribution of 100,000 seedlings of 20 tree species.
  • Donate 315,000 native tree species seedlings and 5 million eucalyptus seedlings to state forest extension programs in Espírito Santo.
